Lamination
We perform glue and flame lamination. Glue adhesive can be used to laminate polyurethane foam and batting with fabrics, imitation leather and leather. It is also possible to laminate Polyurethane foam and polyester batting together. Flame lamination can be used when laminating Polyurethane foam and polyethylene foam with different fabrics. This gives a stronger connection compared to the glue.
Laminated Polyurethane Foam
Due to its softness, durability, insulation and soundproofing properties, laminated polyurethane foam can be used for upholstering and softening various surfaces, inside footwear, for sewing and automotive industries, as well as for the production of many household products and orthopedic support aids.
When laminating, we can adhere different textiles to one or both sides of the foam, either with glue (glue lamination) or by melting the surface of the foam (flame lamination).
For lamination, we use standard foam (polyurethane foam) with a thickness of 2 to 15 mm both in a roll and as planks. Usually we procure the polyurethane foam.
We laminate the following materials to polyurethane foam:
● Decorative fabrics of synthetic or natural fibers. Customer’s own procurement.
● Synthetic mesh fabric (“charmeuse”). Our procurement.
● Thick batting. Our procurement.
● Nonwoven fabric. Our procurement.
● Artificial leather (PVC). Customer’s own procurement.
We make laminated polyurethane foam that is wound up in rolls. Lamination width 500 to 1800mm, number of layers 2 or more, thickness 2 to 50 mm, roll diameter up to 1300 mm.
We manufacture laminated polyurethane foam according to individual orders and, if necessary also provide a consultation on the usage.
Laminated Polyethylene Foam
Due to its softness, good heat retention, soundproofing properties and durability, laminated polyethylene foam is suitable for upholstering and softening various surfaces, for footwear, sewing, and automotive industries, as well as for the production of mats used for sports, recreational, or household purposes.
When laminating, we can adhere different textile materials on one or both sides of the polyethylene foam by melting the surface on a flame lamination device.
For lamination, we use polyethylene foam roll, produced by the Finnish company NMC Termonova OY, which has the registered name “Nomalen ™” and thickness of 5 to 15 mm. Can be cut thinner if needed.
We laminate the following materials to polyethylene foam:
● Decorative fabrics of synthetic or natural fibers, leather, imitation leather. Customer’sown procurement.
● Polyethylene sheet/stream with a thickness of 1 to 1.5 mm. Our procurement.
● Nonwoven fabric.
● Polyethylene foam in different thicknesses and colors. Our procurement.
We make laminated polyethylene foam as a continuous sheet, and it comes in rolls. Lamination width 500 to 1700 mm, number of layers 2 or more, thickness 3 to 30 mm, roll diameter up to 1300 mm.
We manufacture laminated polyethylene foam according to individual orders and, if necessary, also provide a consultation on the usage.
